Apply for the best residency in Ireland: the Heinrich Böll cottage on Achill Island

I am a big fan of Ireland

If you ever, as an artist, apply for any residency, this is the one you want. The Achill Heinrich Böll cottage on Achill Island is a residency for writers, composers and artists. Applications are now being accepted for artists’ stays in the cottage during 2010.

I would like to work in the H.Boell cottage on Achill Island starting from January 1, 2010. I understand, that I am too late with my application, but still hope…
At the moment I am in Gallway as a tourist and could come up to Achill for a talk. I have a “mixed biography”: born in Russia, lived in the USA (acquired a US pass after the emigration) and live for over 30 years in Germany, Munich. Published articles in the German press and some Russian newspapers in Munich. Two articles “Wort ist Tat” and “Unwissen und Missionierung” can be found in Internet under my name (in German).
Will be very grateful if I could get an appointment and can up any time in December. Thank you,
    Vera Bade
